Set on an isolated promontory overlooking Loch Seaforth, its view encompasses Mount Clisham, the tallest mountain in the Outer Hebrides, to the south and the Eishken hills to the north. Offering accommodation for up to 3 adults, the cottage has a cosy, rustic and homely feel and is the perfect base to explore the islands.

FIND YOURSELF IN NATURE

This rugged and remote estate, surrounded by mountains, lochs and glens is the perfect place to immerse yourself in nature. Wildlife is in abundance - the outer Hebrides are home to red deer, white tailed eagles, otters, porpoises and orcas.

There is no better place for a remote getaway. Board the ferry and leave everyday life behind for days filled with fishing, stalking, boating, eating, drinking, hiking, swimming, reading, relaxing.

STALKING OPPORTUNITIES

Aline Estate has a variety of country sports to offer. From stalking, walked-up grouse, driven woodcock, duck flighting to salmon, sea trout fishing and lobster pots.

    The beaches of Lewis and Harris are nearby and ideal for a Sunday picnic and day trips to Seaforth Island can be made for guests.

    The estate includes several miles of sea coast, including Seaforth Island, plus inland lochs so there are plenty of opportunities for a spot of fishing during your stay.

    Well-behaved dogs are welcome at Aline Estate so the whole family can enjoy a holiday!

  • Check-in for Seaforth Cottage is from 3pm, check-out is 10am. If you require a late check-out please enquire directly with us as this is occasionally available. Similarly, if you would like to drop off you bags prior to check-in please let us know as occasionally we can facilitate this.

    On check-out please leave the cottage in a tidy state with any dirty kitchenware washed, used towels in the bathroom and all doors and windows closed and locked where possible. If the cottage is left in an unacceptable condition, with additional cleaning required, a penalty fee will be applied to the booking party.

    Please return the key to the key safe upon vacating the property.

  • Dogs are permitted at the cottages by prior arrangement and are charged at £10 per week per dog.

    • Unless you drive a 4 x 4, we strongly suggest parking on top of the hill by the main road and walking to the entrance of Seaforth Cottage which takes roughly 2 mins

    • Unfortunately Seaforth Cottage is not suitable for disabled guests.
