The lodge

A traditional Scottish lodge framed by mountains on both sides with views of Loch Seaforth

Originally built in the 18th Century, Aline Lodge is a traditional Highland lodge which has provided protection from the wilds of the Hebridean weather for generations. Aline Lodge was thoughtfully renovated and modernised in 2010, enabling it to keep its original, cosy personality while being able to provide modern home comforts for guests staying on the estate.

Aline Lodge offers comfortable accommodation for ten people in a spectacular setting on the shores of Loch Seaforth, looking down a beautiful glen all the way to the Isle of Skye. The sunroom enjoys fabulous views to the south, while the billiards room and nearby sauna complex (with table tennis) offer great entertainment in the evening. Aline Lodge is offered on a self-catered basis although there is a cook’s room available if required.

recent reviews

We had an incredible stay at Aline Lodge. The lodge is really beautiful - top marks for all the fires having firewood, firefighters, and matches all ready to go. The electric Aga means the kitchen is always warm, and the view is world class. We went fishing twice (caught 11 trout!), clay pigeon shooting, used the sauna, and played table tennis and billiards. The kids went out on the boat around the loch and saw sea eagles, golden eagles, seals and a porpoise. Robert the gamekeeper was great - really responsive and happy to help. Could not recommend this highly enough - we will be back!

A wonderful stay at Aline Lodge for our family. Perfect for all ages (13-82!). The photos do not do it justice at all, it’s way more spacious and comfortable than it looks on the pictures. The pool table, table tennis and darts were great for our teens. Easy access to the loch shore was great for fishing and messing about in kayaks and SUPs. We had a couple of successful fishing trips on the loch with Robert too. Overall an amazing stay, the weather gods were kind to us, we would definitely recommend!
